Baru Za is a very nice and elegant bar and restaurant in the Silom Suriwongse area of Bangkok. They have a modern-style look and feel, and some really great dishes to choose from on their menu. They have happy hour everyday from 2-9pm (it’s buy 1 get 1 free drinks), although the prices are a bit high, for example an order of the famous Thai spicy shrimp soup named “Tom Yum Kung” is 190 baht, not much, but noticably more expensive than most other restaurants. With that being said, I must mention, it’s WELL WORTH IT! The food is great! And they have inside area for those of you who want aircon, and outside for those who want to smoke their nasty cigarettes hehe

The Menu: Consists of japanese cuisines, many thai dishes, curries, international foods, spaghetti, and many soups and salads
What I Ate: We had the pan-fried seabass with white wine sauce, it was SO very delicous, I will definately order again, also had there famous potato salad, also delicious
The Staff: They are friendly, and can speak pretty good English too
The Bathroom: The bathroom is small, but clean, it’s in the Glitz Hotel (link) which is connected to Baru-Za

The Mango Tree has been serving Thai foods for over 10 years, with inspiration from it’s owner Phithaya Phanphensophon, that every guest will be treated as if they are coming into you’re own home, what a great goal for a restaurant to have! I love it!!!

Their recommended dishes include Po Tuon, Yam Som-O, Shrimp Pad Thai, and Choo Chee Goong Nang and have some great cocktails also

The Menu: The menu has a TON of Thai dishes from all over Thailand, if you love thai food then you will definately love looking through the Mango Tree menu. You can see their entire menu here

Simply Bangkok’s oldest and most authentic Tex-Mex restaurant. Our friendly, helpful staff has been providing mouth-watering food to expats and tourists alike for over 15 years. We pride ourselves on our home-made tortillas, tacos and corn-chips and, of course, the freshest margaritas in town. Charley Browns has a nice atmosphere and a great location to start off for dinner before hitting the nightlife of the famous Sukhumvit Soi 11 nightclubs

Using the freshest ingredients, they make every dish to order. And for those hard to find ingredients, they import Australian beef and New Zealand avocados. They even have a kids’ menu, low-calorie dishes and plenty of vegetarian options.
