Krua Kan Aeng Restaurant is a really nice little place almost hidden down Ratchada Soi 14, it’s open til 2am (and sometimes later, on weekends) and they have good thai foods and ice cold beers, it’s actually a great place to start off, or end your nightlife in Bangkok too, if you are wanting to get away from the normal tourist traps.

The Menu: The menu consists of many great Thai food dishes, I’ll be there again very soon to try some more
What I Ate: I had pad thai and an ice cold Singha beer, both were great!
The Staff:
The Bathroom: The bathrooms are decent and clean

  1. I was there last night, I ordered the Tom Yum Ghung and some penang pork, the Tom Yum was super delicious, and VERY spicy, the penang was different than any I’ve had before, it had peanuts in it, was delicious but didnt taste how penang normally tastes

The service was incredible, the hostess was super friendly and many waiters to help fill our beers and we were even greeted with a cold hand/face towel which was refreshing after our walk to Krua Kan Aeng

  2. May I know how to get to this restaurant?

  3. Hi Allen, I would suggest that you get into taxi, head for Ratchada around soi 12-16 then call Krua Kan Aeng and let them speak to your taxi driver, their # is 0-2693-1638

  4. Ok, i had the address translated and added it above 🙂

Also, i was there last night, it was really disappointing, i ordered 3 common thai dishes and they didnt have any of them, BUT i ended up with pad kra pow, goong minnao, and tom yum goong, and all were extremely delicious
